The curator in question behaves like an elusive quantum particle.
Voebe de Gruyter: 'My first solo show in Belgium was in 1996, at the art space De Kunstbank. Two weeks before the opening, Herman, the curator, informed me about another artist he had decided to include. It was only twelve years later that I learned Herman was, in fact, a collective identity consisting of six or more fictional artists, each with a distinct practice and body of work.' One of those fictional artists exhibited simultaneously in his newly established exhibition space 'Eve'n & yet' in Louvain, Belgium.
