‘Gebilde’
A kind of scale models. Halmans shows you the pipework (gas, water, electricity, sewage) hidden from the eye in the walls, floors and ceilings of rooms in buildings and houses. A wonderful play of lines in colour - evoking associations with De Stijl - on small planchettes for presentation on the wall.
The starting point was the reference to anatomical models such as the vascular system or nerve tracts.
