Especially for the solo exhibition 'Inner thoughts', Lise Sore made this self-portrait that is both flat and spacious. Sore's self-portrait is a drawing made with mixed chalk, on a strip of unbleached cotton. The strip of transparent cotton is attached to a sculptural mold made of MDF painted with oil paint and pigment, on which the portrait can float freely.
