Mieke van Schaijk Gallery from ’s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, presents new works bij Kurt Ryslavy (AT, 1971). From Kurt Ryslavy a wall installation (approx 300 x 550 cm) consisting of a set of 9 paintings he call “Carbutts” which he made this year at the Van Gogh House in Zundert.
Ryslavy made a new series of painting of the back of cars he drives behind while on the job in the wine business. Het calls these paintings ‘Carbutts’. Nine of these painting (100 x 80 cm, oil on canvas) will be presented as a wall installation (for sale as integrated price) as if the cars are parked in a parking garage. Any moment they can drive away.
