In her paintings Lotte Keijzer speaks about both her internal and external experiences, often putting an accent on the female perspective of society. Her paintings are visual metaphors for her personal reflections on daily affairs.
Over the past year she has developed a bold and cheerful visual language which derived from her practice in graphic design. Her work is about layering, explaining 'touch' in different ways. She enjoys adding a bit of humor to her work as she doesn’t take herself too seriously.
