Jeroen Henneman is well known for his monumental sculptures like The Kiss (Amsterdam ) or The Wheel (On top of the building of the Belastingdienst in Amsterdam). Henneman studied at the Institute of Applied Arts in Amsterdam. Henneman lives and works in The Netherlands and in Italy.
He calls these sculptures 'Standing Drawings'. One of the most famous works of Henneman is the monument for Theo van Gogh, the 'Cry' at the Oosterpark in Amsterdam. Another famous work is the portrait of Queen (now Prinses) Beatrix.
