KLAAS KLOOSTERBOER, 15118, 2015
Klaas Kloosterboer made '15118' when he was invited to participate in a group exhibition 'Postcards are to be looked at' at Galerie van Gelder in 2015. A picture postcard shows a Dutch herring cut into pieces from which a skewer with a Dutch flag sticks out. The tricolor was cut out of the card by him. He then cut an abstract expressionist canvas into sixteen parts and hung it at random next to the postcard in the form of a rectangle.
