The alienation of the body is for Isabelle Wenzel the most important subject. ‘The fact that we mainly work with our brains and need our bodies less and less in our everyday lives has caused an imbalance,’ says Isabelle. ‘With my work, I try to evoke that physical connection again. When I look at the photos of myself, I can recall not only the sensations in my body, but also the feelings I had at that specific moment.’
