Born and raised in Japan until she was 14, Suchan Kinoshita moved back with her mother and sisters to Germany, where she followed most of her education. Theater school in Cologne and music education from modern classical composer Mauricio Kagel, Kinoshita first worked at the theater. Only then did she move to Maastricht, where she attended the Jan van Eyck academy, where she later started teaching.
German language in particular comes to the fore in the early works. Similarly in these Texttafeln I and III, which consists entirely of automatic writing: writing without scruples, reflexion or second thoughts, just pin down what comes up in your head.
