Wjm Kok presents his works only in series. Nevertheless, over the years the parts are dispersed among various collections. In that case, there is no longer any question of a series at all. But here too, he tolerates the logic inherent in the specific wishes of the collector who falls for a particular work from a series. For him, imposing an embargo on breaking a series is going too far. If an individual work is to be singled out, then so be it. Then that should be celebrated as an ode to the individual work and not to the series, although according to him, that individual triumph is precisely due to the natural compulsiveness of the series from which it emerges. He says about this: "I do not want to sacrifice the importance of the parts to the importance of the series. They cannot exist without each other and they are equally important to me."
