In the Quiberville series, Dorine van der Ploeg has created 30 slides. These are small paper collages, made directly in the frame, which are projected using an old slide projector.
This analogue method of creation and projection, using an old Leitz slide projector – which requires each slide to be inserted individually – offers a new way of viewing art. Rather than a fast, digital image, it is an action that occasionally reveals the works.
