Quiberville, 2026
For the fourth year running, Dorine van der Ploeg has spent the month of May in Normandy. This year, she presents the Quiberville series: 15 collages using paper and oil pastels on plastic. For the past year and a half, van der Ploeg has been exploring the themes of projection and transparency in her work. Working on plastic is an interesting step in this direction; the paper and oil pastels allow the background to remain visible. In addition to the 15 works, she has also created a series of slides using paper and ink.
