The images in *Gravity* are based on the book *Gravity*, published by Jo Frenken in 2024. It was a follow-up to *Variations on Runge*, a book from 2020 based on the experiments of Friedlieb Ferdinand Runge from 1858.
The diptychs in this book and in the three giclée prints, each with an edition of 1/1, are based on the idea that experiments must always be carried out twice. The colours have been chosen at random.
