In 1995, Klaas Kloosterboer created small photographic works in which colors blended together through blur. Since 1998, he has spray painted onto canvas in various ways with a similar effect.
In 2001, Galerie van Gelder exhibited an installation called "Party - Counterparty," in which a series of stretched industrial fabrics, purchased at Albert Cuyp Market, were sprayed with a spray cannon.
