Eleri explores the possibility of tradition, reflecting on history. Her projects are on edge between fiction and documentary, puzzling the contemporary and the past and creating consolidating comments on her womanhood humorously.
She was born and raised in South Korea and studied at the dept. of fine arts at Seoul National University and at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. At her first bachelor's, she focused on figurative painting and worked as an actor for independent films in Korea. Using her theatrical experience, she narrates with a moving image implying the hereditary chain in her life.
