À propos de Livingstone gallery
Livingstone Gallery (established in 1991) focuses on contemporary art of international significance. Exhibitions included James Brown, Jannis Kounellis, Sol LeWitt, Arnulf Rainer and the last exhibition of Robert Rauschenberg.
An important priority is the discovery and advancement of young artists such as Aaron van Erp (NL/PY), Ruri Matsumoto (J/D), Raquel Maulwurf (E/NL) and Jan Wattjes (NL). The gallery always works closely together with its artists for exhibitions and publications. Livingstone participated in many international art fairs, including Art Basel, Arco Madrid, Art Frankfurt, Art Brussels, Art Cologne, Art Rotterdam, VOLTA New York and VOLTA Basel.
In 2014 Livingstone started a project space in Berlin. For periods of 2-4 months artists will work at the studio in former East-Berlin to create a presentation in cooperation with gallery director/curator Jeroen Dijkstra. After Berlin the show travels to other locations like Museums, art fairs or the gallery in The Hague.
