“ About im_possible balance “
This work is an investigation into possible and impossible balance, in which the ‘perfect’ spherical shape plays the leading role. Perfect as a sphere, imperfect as a stackable shape and therefore challenging ... The only form of balance for the spherical shape is balance with itself. Every shape has its imperfection in variable use... Stacking is organizing in space. Stacking spherical shapes is a continuous/permanent action, which is why the urge to fix the spherical shapes in their stacking continues to intrigue me. By fixing that movement, I want to be able to observe the impossible balance, limit shapes, define them in order to understand who keeps whom in balance. Organizing can be done by grouping. Bundling shapes, holding them together by means of the common thread as an “imaginary support” in the balance. The common thread is sometimes a bearer of balance and sometimes a guardian of balance, but always based on a playful desire to make the impossible possible. The greater that desire, the more possible it becomes. The desire to seek balance is a grand journey that allows us to fantasize about creative solutions.
