Mireille Robbe (b. 1962, Brussels, Belgium) is an artist whose practice spans sculpture, installation, and drawing, with natural materials serving as both sources and tools. She meticulously pursues the philosophical and psychological quest to bridge life and nature. A graduate of Sint-Lucas in Brussels and the art academy in Leuven, Robbe’s meditative process combines intuition, experience, and reading, channeling embedded inspirations into a kaleidoscopic exploration of alchemical dimensions.
As her research lies in the fragile intersection of the tangible and the imaginary, her works unveil hidden narratives and psychological symbolism, such as in A Rose is a Rose is a Rose. Through spaces where nature and history converge, Robbe’s practice invites contemplation of our shared interconnectedness, shaped by a romantic devotion to the unseen— a resonance that reveals itself after a longer gaze.
Robbe’s work has been exhibited at Perspective Galerie and Gallery Sofie Van den Bussche.
