À propos de Blue Lotus Gallery
Blue Lotus Gallery, Hong Kong's leading photography gallery was established by Sarah Van Ingelgom in 2007. The gallery's program focuses on presenting narratives relating to Asian contemporary culture and heritage, especially Hong Kong, through various exhibitions and publications. The gallery, which offers an exquisite selection of limited edition prints, vintage material and photobooks, is currently located in a quaint old corner near Hong Kong central called Tai Ping Shan.
Over the years, the gallery has crafted a unique program with many exclusive artists such as Fan Ho, Yasuhiro Ogawa, Wing Shya, Greg Girard, Romain Jacquet-Lagrèze and Tugo Cheng.
In addition, the gallery started publishing its own artist-driven projects under the publishing house Blue Lotus Editions. The first book, 'Thirty-six Views of Lion Rock' by Romain Jacquet-Lagrèze was released in November 2022, shortly followed by a co-publication with Sokyusha: 'The Dreaming' by Yasuhiro Ogawa and ‘The Labyrinth’ by Christopher Button,
In the future, the gallery aims to remain of global importance by discovering and staging strong Asian photography talent through quality publications, exhibitions and fairs.
Blue Lotus Gallery is planning to open a special Fan Ho Cabinet early 2027 onwards in the centre of Ghent in the old House of the Province very close to the Cathedral.
