“My memory is my camera.” – Tim Ter Wal
Ter Wal (1984) describes himself as a detail artist and this is clearly reflected in his work. He draws factory halls, cities and buildings from memory with razor-fine lines. Without ruler, compasses or templates.
According to the artist, his mild form of autism ensures an extreme focus on details and the ability to get them on paper in a perfectionist manner. The pencil drawings are impressive and show great talent.
