Dimitrih Correa is a young Brazilian designer and craftsman, living and working In Rio de Janeiro. Each lamp of his Materiae series is made with reclaimed noble hardwoods (Peroba do Campo & Massaranduba) and has a detachable handmade wooden element containing a led lamp that can be attached anywhere on the carbon steel part of the lamp. Limited edition of 10 copies per model, signed and numbered by the artist. As the wood is recovered from beams in buildings that are being dismantled, each lamp is unique and carries a story.
