Ellen Pil is a visual artist whose work combines diverse media and disciplines to create installations that explore the relationship between reality and representation. Fascinated by the diverse possibilities, we as humans, have created to manipulate reality to our liking, Pil places painting, digital design, sculpture, video and installation art into each other, creating unusual visual spaces. Her work is often surreal and rich in symbolism with a strong emphasis on the search for identity within the bigger picture.
