Dan Hallman is a visual artist currently based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Following
a successful career in editorial and celebrity photography working with leading
publications such as The New York Times, Variety, Billboard, and The Hollywood
Reporter Hallman has shifted his focus to a deeply personal and multidisciplinary
artistic practice.
His current work spans painting, abstract photography, and mixed media,
exploring themes of time, language, and emotional perception. In his ongoing
series "Textural", Hallman combines text with organic and industrial materials on
canvas to create layered, tactile surfaces that invite subjective interpretation and
emotional resonance. Language becomes texture, and meaning is left open to
the viewer’s intuition.
Driven by a fascination with intuition, temporality, and the interplay between word
and image, Hallman continues to develop a body of work that challenges
conventional boundaries between disciplines. He lives and works between Buenos
Aires and New York.
