Vincent Lagrange, a visionary Belgian photographer, captured the hearts of viewers worldwide with his profound ability to infuse life
into his subjects through the lens of his camera. Born in 1987, Lagrange grew up in his father's photography studio in Antwerp, where he developed a lifelong passion for portraiture and a love for the studio life. From a young age, Vincent was fascinated by the art of photography. His father, Marc Lagrange, taught him all the creative and technical skills necessary to turn his fascination into work.
Inspired by the resilience and nobility of his beloved pet cat, Dwiezel, Vincent has dedicated his career to capturing the unique spirit of animals through the classic techniques of human portraiture. His work is characterized by a focus on trust, kindness, and openness in his relationships with his subjects, resulting in photographs that showcase the inner energy and dignity of his subjects. With each photograph, Lagrange sought to convey a sense of empathy and understanding, inviting viewers to see animals not merely as subjects but as fellow beings deserving of love, respect, and protection.

As a renowned portrait photographer, Vincent Lagrange has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including being featured on the cover of National Geographic Magazine in 2022. His work has been exhibited at esteemed art fairs internationally, such as PAN Amsterdam and Photo Basel. Additionally, he has published a book on his collection 'Human Animals' in 2020 and another on his series 'Between Us' in 2024. In 2023, Lagrange had a collaboration with the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp (KMSKA), where his project 'Symphony of Dogs' was staged on the iconic steps of the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp. The following year, his photograph 'Snowy Owl' was on view in the city centre Antwerp, Belgium.
