Ingrid Rollema (1953) is a sculptor and focuses on people. She does this very literally through portraits, but also places them in a political context through 'The Theater of the Wrong Decisions' (www.TheatreofWrongDecisions.com). The exhibition will feature the complete oeuvre (video) of The Theater of the Wrong Decisions, together with recent sculptures. Ingrid studied sculpture in Rotterdam, studied International Law in Leiden and Applied Ethics at KU Leuven. She was director of the 'Vrije Academie' for 8 years. Ingrid's sculptures are spread all over the world, both in public spaces and in private collections. Ingrid has been working with children for more than 30 years and at an academy for young talent in war zones in the Middle East, especially in Gaza. She is co-founder of
www.HOPE-Foundation.nl. She currently publishes literature from Gaza together with Uitgeverij Jurgen Maas.
