À propos de DMW Gallery
DMW Gallery is a contemporary art gallery and project space located in Antwerp. Established in 2016, the gallery is dedicated to fostering artistic dialogue through its unique approach to exhibitions. DMW focuses on presenting duo, solo, and group exhibitions featuring emerging national and international artists. Currently, the gallery represents Bram De Jonghe, Fia Cielen, Ignace Cami, Kaspar Dejong, and Caroline Van den Eynden.
A defining characteristic of DMW Gallery is its commitment to collaboration. The gallery organizes duo exhibitions where an artist selected by DMW is paired with another artist invited by the selected artist. This method encourages creative exchange and has led to an evolving roster of represented artists and long-term collaborations.
Beyond its exhibition program, DMW Gallery is actively involved in the broader art scene. The gallery co-organizes Ballroom Project, a recurring art event that brings together prominent galleries from Belgium and the Netherlands. This initiative, developed in partnership with Base-Alpha Gallery, offers an innovative perspective on the traditional art fair format. Additionally, DMW is a proud member of Antwerp Art, further cementing its role in the region’s artistic community.
DMW Gallery operates with a strong ethical foundation and fully endorses the Mondriaan Fund Gallery Fair Practice Code, ensuring transparency and fairness in its operations.
During exhibitions, DMW Gallery is open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 2-6 PM, except on public holidays. Visitors can also schedule appointments outside regular hours by contacting the gallery. To stay updated on exhibitions and activities, art enthusiasts are encouraged to subscribe to the DMW newsletter.
