To kick of 2026, Australian photographer and Hasselblad Master Ben Thomas will unveil his latest series PLAY, created in The Netherlands for Project 2.0 / Gallery.
In this series, Ben Thomas brings his signature style to The Netherlands, capturing the vibrant colors and subtle contradictions often overlooked in our fast-paced lives. With a keen eye for architecture, he finds meaning in the seemingly mundane, framing each shot to reveal the beauty of everyday moments. His work also offers a glimpse into the society that organically forms within and around these spaces.
There's a sense of playfulness that flows through the images, transforming city streets and urban landscapes into stages where form and colour are always at play.
PLAY opens on Saturday 17 January 2026 at Project 2.0 / Gallery, with the artist present. Join us from 15:00 to celebrate the launch of this vibrant new body of work.
