Galerie Ramakers is pleased to participate in the upcoming edition of the NAP+ art fair with a carefully curated presentation centered around minimalist art. This participation also marks the beginning of the celebration of visual artist Bob Bonies’ 88th birthday – a pioneer of geometric-abstract art in the Netherlands.
Parallel to the fair, the gallery in The Hague is hosting a major solo exhibition of Bob Bonies. This exhibition runs through October 12.
In addition to works by Bonies, the gallery will also present pieces by three contemporary artists at NAP+, each approaching minimalism in their own unique way:
Yumiko Yoneda, with her refined, meditative wall reliefs that capture light and make silence tangible;
Geert Vanoorlé, whose work balances between graphic simplicity and poetic precision;
Reinoud Oudshoorn, known for his subtle spatial wall objects and sculptures, in which form, shadow, and emptiness take center stage.
