Bildhalle is pleased to reopen its doors during Amsterdam Art Week 2025 in the heart of Amsterdam's historic centre at Singel 272. The new exhibition Premieres will open during the Festive Gallery Night on Thursday 22 May from 17:00 until 21:00.
After a brief period of relocation, Bildhalle, with a strong focus on photography and photo-based art, is proud to present never-before-seen works by Dutch artists in Amsterdam – most of whom will be present at the opening at the new location on Singel 272.
Each artist has developed a unique style, continually surprising with new works, some of which are still in production. We are excited to unveil these premieres alongside the artists.
Some works reference the rich tradition of Dutch art, while others, influenced by Japan, evoke elements of Asian art through their technique and craftsmanship. What unites them all is their deep passion for photography and their ongoing exploration of the medium's boundaries.
