The title of the exhibition, 'Looking at the world through rose coloured glasses', is inspired by a Frank Sinatra song of the same name and refers to a romantically naïve
perception of reality. The expression refers to seeing the positive side of things, sometimes in an unrealistic way. It demonstrates a belief in a better world, and in the exhibition “the naïve optimism of some artworks helps us to counterbalance pessimistic views about the challenges society faces today.
We will present a selection of this project at Art Rotterdam, the perfect occasion to present young contemporary artists.
