Sander Dekker is an admirer of all kinds of creatives. During the last few years he travelled the world and photographed many people in an attempt to share in their confidence and exuberance. About Sander Dekker
Sander Dekker's photography has a recognisable style, due to his spontaneous and playful working method. Working without a preconceived concept, the outcome of his shoots is always unexpected. His subjects are never his friends, but people he finds on social media (who often become friends). He chooses creatives he admires: outgoing, spontaneous and a little eccentric - qualities he says he lacks himself. Sander travels to his subject and spends around an hour with them, capturing the high energy of that first encounter.
