Rademakers Gallery
Artists presented

Rademakers Gallery has set itself the ambitious mission to create an international stage to female artists. That's why we proudly present a very diverse selection of work by 3 distinct Female Artists at Art on Paper Amsterdam. We've made a challenging combination of various techniques. We will show large pronounced black / white linocuts from renowned artist Maayke Schuitema, in which powerful women are central. But also a new series of collages of large paper forms by Colette Vermeulen, in which her sturdy use of color is particularly striking. In addition, we proudly introduce etchings and drawings made especially for Art on Paper by Sophie Steengracht, winner of the Fentener van Vlissingen Cultuurprijs and recognized Young Talent by the Mondriaan Fund. At Art on Paper Amsterdam, 35 selected galleries concentrate on work on paper by their artists. The fair takes place in the industrial-monumental Zuiveringshal at the Westergasfabriek. Work on paper, whether it be pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, watercolor, gouache or collage, often shows the artist in the most spontaneous and artistically free moment. The directness that is connected with this medium brings artist and viewer closer together. In their intimacy and vulnerability, works on paper thrive well with the exclusive attention they receive at a specialized art fair. Not only does work on paper have a special character from an artistic point of view, it is often accessible and attractive in terms of format and price. Beginning art lovers might be doing one of their first art purchases here. At Art on Paper Amsterdam, 35 selected galleries concentrate on work on paper by their artists.
