During the Paperworks gallery exhibition we show a selection of the latest artworks made from- or painted on paper. We present a variety of artists with a diversity of techniques.
Such as collages from Martijn Hesseling, made with a technique in which varnish treated newspapers on transparent plexiglass plates have taken the place of paint. As well as new sculptural airships that remind us of a forgotten world, which are made of cardboard and paper by Jeroen van Kesteren.
In addition, we show a series of 3-dimensional paper sculptures by Colette Vermeulen, and large, pronounced black and white linocuts printed on Japanese Kozo paper in which powerful women are central, by renowned artist Maayke Schuitema.
